Merchants’ Academy is located in Withywood, on the Southern fringe of Bristol. The Academy is situated close to the open fields of  North Somerset and is easy travelling distance from country villages and the city centre.

Provided below are directions to the Academy from Bristol City Centre.

Travelling by car (from Bristol City centre):

Follow the A38 out from Bristol sign posted Bristol Airport. Continue along the A38 to Bedminster Down. Turn left at the Cross Hands pub onto Bishopsworth Road. Follow Bishopsworth Road until you see a mini roundabout at Bishopsworth Swimming Pool. Turn left at the roundabout onto Whitchurch Lane and continue. Turn Right before the traffic lights onto Hareclive road. When on Hareclive Road take the first left onto Gatehouse Avenue. Merchants’ Academy is located on the left hand side of the road.

Travelling by bus (from Bristol City centre):

From the city centre take the number 76 bus; this can be taken from various stops including Colston Street. Take the bus to Hareclive Road, Withywood (this should take around 25minutes). When leaving the bus continue along Hareclive Road until Gatehouse Avenue. Turn right onto Gatehouse Avenue and follow the road for 2 minutes until you will see Merchants’ Academy on the left hand side.
