In years 7 and 8, all students follow a programme of English, maths, science, PE, and a range of subjects within languages, humanities, arts and technology.

Our aim is to ensure that every student has a broad and balanced curriculum offer, so that when they reach year 9, they will follow a programme which can build upon their individual skills and interests. A key focus of our KS3 programme, is the “learning to learn” sessions – all students will follow a programme which helps them to identify their preferred learning styles and develop their skills as active, independent learners throughout their time at the Academy.
